We Are The Children - Thank You!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone that made this year's annual We Are The Children Christmas party a huge success for the over 1,200 attendees!

First and foremost, thank you to the volunteers that gave up part of their Christmas Day to make this Christmas a very special one for these children. A special thank you to our committee members who year after year make this a successful event: Kathy Browne, Pat Carter, Chuck Cusson, Dara DeCroce, Michael McDonald, Frank Mira, Greg Ranaldi and Lee Ranaldi.

Thank you to the following businesses and individuals that contributed in a big way:
Bob's Discount Furniture for sponsoring the We Are The Children Hotline,
Kelly Services for our Hotline Operator, Nahir,
Hartford Restaurant Group (Agave, Wood N' Tap, Vaughn's) for sponsoring the volunteer TeeShirts and donating over 1,000 toys,
Durham School Services and their drivers for donating buses to provide transportation for the children,
Marcus Communications for the Walkie Talkies,
Manchester Moving and Storage for storage for the toys and trucks to do the collection,
Libby and the staff at the United Way for organizing the kids,
The Connecticut Expo Center for donating the venue to hold the party,
Big Y, Coldwell Banker, Pro Park, and Ideal Image for being official toy collection sites,
and of course, Bruce and the staff at Maneelys for catering the event.
